The Sterners

Hi all! Just got my computer back. It has been a while but it is up and running with no problems so far.

Been in the states for 2 months. Will send pics soon. We went hunting, camping, drove fromthe east coast to Idaho and back. We even made it to Disney World first week in Nov.

Had a blast. Now it is time to get back to work and get ready for Christmas.
More later

life in germany

Yesterday I had this grand plan to post my little quirks or neat things about Germany along the way.
Stupid me posted on Abby's blog but she liked it and said she wanted me to keep it there. That is what it is there for, she said. So, Rose and Mimi you should post something sometimes.

This morning I woke up so mad at Sydney. Thinking she had crossed our dangerous road out front without going to the cross walk. It was only a dream but I woke up so scared.

There are a lot of things when you have kids that can scare the pants off of you. Maybe that is why I have grey hair. I sleep upstair with Sydney so I can be closer to them when Tim is gone just in case.

I am not scared in this house though. Germany seems so safe.

We went on a hike last night with my neighbors who don't have children. That was interesting. Needless to say they probably won't ask us again but they don't mind taking Issak.

Issak likes them but looses what little manner he has on a leash when they are with him. They let him pull which is a no no but they are glad to take him so I not going to be picky.

Sydney and Cole complained the whole way.....The bugs are getting me!!!! (over and over) Sydney had on flip flops and I did not notice she did not have good walking shoes until we had gone too far. But to top it all off , 3/4 of the way home, Sydney is holding herself saying I got to pee!! I got to pee!
So we had to squat in a field.
Mack figured out how to turn around in the back pack. He also likes to use my hair for reigns. Tim be glad you don't have hair.

End of the story...Jean and Chad probably had a very long talk about not having children...over their Salmon grilled dinner.
What? Oh we had popcorn after baths and went to bed.

This morning Mack figured out how to get out of the highchair. He did it without falling or getting hurt. He just came wondering in the living room after me smiling.
